A place of history on top with unique newer architecture such as the Egg performance venue. Amazing art and the vibe from the Legislative office building is awesome.
This is a large interesting collection of important artworks. The David Smith collection, although substantial, is displayed awful and has cobwebs which was disappointing and in my opinion does disservice to the artwork and the artist and viewer.
It would be nice if when there is events that more suitable food is available for vegetarians. But it okay other than that
Wow the holiday lights are amazing. The lighting of the tree had a little glitch, but once they turned off all the other lights from the background a few minutes later the tree was lit. Followed by a long fireworks display. Being they couldn't do this last year they used the fireworks from last yr along with this yrs fireworks and it was one of the best displays I ever seen. Outdoor ice skating was available W/ skate rentals @ $4 each. They had music more entertainment there. Vendors as well as a food place. A area to sit and get to get warm with heating lamps. Stewart's shops was one of the vendors & was giving their brand of egg nog. I was handed a cup of it and then a quart to take with me at no cost. Im pretty sure their were more venders, but by the time we made it over there most were packing up to leave. I can't wait to go back next year. We enjoyed this event very much. Great job ALBANY NY. Not happy with MAPS Which led me around in circles. MAPS You need to update your way to the capital. Being that there are many ways to get there and multiple parking options. MAPS Please update your app thank you

A great city-center that holds many events, especially in the summer months. Beautiful marble-like walkways link the Egg, State Museum, Corning towers and other governmental buildings that lend to Albany's unique skyline. Hidden is a vast underground network that will have you wondering what other secrets does this city hold!
It is a beautiful place, park underneath for $10.00 for the entire day and take the elevator to the concourse and you have access to all buildings that the public is allowed. They have a guided tour at 1 pm. Food trucks from 11 am - noon 😋. Stop by the one for the culinary school, and you will not be disappointed. Stop by the museum and library and do not miss the Capitol guided tour.
Excellent conference and event location. Parking needs expansion. Was sad to hear McDonalds may close out of there.
